Connector selection 75R

Below you can see the connectors that are available in our cable configurator. Select the connector and associated cable type. The link leads you to the appropriate selection in the configurator with the desired confection on both ends.

BNC Stecker

BNC connectors

The BNC is the most used high frequency connector and can be found with the bayonet lock on any oscilloscope, meter or frequency generator of 4 GHz and has a characteristic impedance of 50 or 75Ω.

BNC Pro Stecker

BNC Pro

The BNC pro connector is the most widely used BNC connector in video technology. The BNC pro from Damar&Hagen combines mechanical robustness with the required electrical properties of a connector for Ultra HD and 4K. All cable connectors in the series have a guaranteed service life of at least 2,000 mating cycles and are virtually trouble-free in the event of shock and vibration.

UHD BNC Stecker

BNC-UHD

The BNC-UHD connector was especially developed for the transmission of high-resolution video signals. With the unique insulator and pin design of the BNC 75 ohm connector, the connectors offer low return loss values for 4K and 8K frequency ranges.

N Stecker

N

The N connector with screw locking is used for high frequencies up to about 11 GHz with a defined wave impedance of 50 / 75 Ohms. This plug is used in antenna technology and has a low contact resistance.

Mini BNC Stecker

Mini BNC

The Mini BNC connector has the popular bayonet lock of the standard BNC connector, but has a 40% smaller footprint in comparison.
With very good contact properties up to 500 mating cycles and an operating frequency up to 6 GHz, the connector can be used up to 4K HD.
The bayonet lock and the smaller outer diameter of approx. 11.5 mm allow quick connection and disconnection in a small installation space. More under: Link

Mini HD-BNC Stecker

Mini HD

The Mini HD BNC connector (75 Ohm) with bayonet closure is at least 50% smaller than conventional BNC connectors and thus allows 4 times the packing density compared to standard BNCs. The Mini HD BNC is mainly used in video transmission and camera interfaces.

MCX Buchse

MCX

The MCX connector is a snapping RF-connector used for frequencies of 6 GHz and has a characteristic impendance of 50 / 75 ohms. Due to its small size, the MCX connectors are used in small gauges and mobile phones.

SMB Stecker

SMB

The SMB connectors are used for frequencies up to 4GHz and, in contrast to SMA and SMC plugs, are only plugged in and not screwed together. They are mainly used for device-internal connections. The links below will give you the desired SMB plugs and SMB sockets preselected in our configurator as a cable assembly.

F Stecker

F

F-plugs and F-jacks are mainly used in TV and SAT applications.
The plugs offered by us are exclusively for crimping and have a genuine, gold-plated center pin.
The electrical ratings are well above the standard low-cost connectors.

TNC Stecker

TNC

The TNC plug is similar in construction to the BNC plug. In contrast to the BNC connector, the closure is a thread. TNC is recommended for frequencies up to 11 GHz (50 / 75R).

Laborstecker Turm 2 mm

Banana plugs 2mm/4mm

We recommend cables with banana plugs of 2mm or 4mm for the transmission of low-level direct currents, low-frequency alternating currents or in the laboratory. The coaxial structure of the cable provides protections against electrical interference and fields with the outer conductor. This reduces errors in the measurement of low voltage signals.

Labor Mini Prüfklemme

Test lead with mini test termina

The advantage of the mini test terminal for measurement work when using coaxial cables is the signal shielding and the reduction of errors when measuring signals with low voltage.
Combined with a BNC connector, this test lead can be connected to almost all common measuring instruments.

Aderendhülse

Ferrules

The connection with ferrules is suitable for all applications in which screw or PCB terminals are used. For this purpose, we use flexible wire, which is soldered to the coaxial cable and fastened with a shrink tube.

Stripped / Tin-plated

As an ideal preparation for the later processing of a cable, we strip the cable end to suit your application. Unless otherwise requested by you, we cut the shield and sheath to fit and do not pull them off the cables. This means that the cable is also protected during transport and can simply be pulled off shortly before further processing. Of course, we can also supply you with any other size of stripping you require.

We tin the end of the cable with RoHS-compliant tin to suit your application. Tinning is a good preparation for the later soldering of a cable in connection with an electronic circuit (PCB).
In the following selection, we naturally only offer you the cables that are suitable for this.
