Corrugated cables - Cellflex

Corrugated Cables

With extremely low attenuation, excellent heat transfer properties and temperature-stabilised dielectric, CELLFLEX cables from RFS are an excellent coaxial cable for outdoor use and the first choice for base stations and industrial applications.

Key features of corrugated cables

The corrugated sheath protects the cable from electromagnetic interference (EMI), external mechanical and environmental influences to ensure signal integrity and reliable transmission. The use of corrugated sheath cables for the transmission of radio frequency signals for 4G and 5G is now standard. Below are some typical applications for corrugated coaxial cables:

  • Telecommunications: Coaxial cables with corrugated sheaths are used in telecommunications networks for the transmission of data and signals, especially for supplying antennas.
This may involve broadband Internet, telephony or other communication services.
  • Surveillance systems: Coaxial cables with corrugated sheaths are often used in surveillance camera systems for the transmission of video and audio signals. The protection of the cable is particularly important when it is installed outdoors or in harsh environments.
  • Military and aviation: Due to their robust construction and protection against external influences, coaxial cables with corrugated sheaths are used in military and aviation technology.

Below you can see the connectors with an impedance of 50R that are available in our cable configurator with corrugated cables in 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch.
Select the appropriate connector and cable type. The link will take you to the corresponding selection in the configurator with the desired double-sided assembly. Of course, combinations that go beyond the listed connectors are also available on request.
