How can I place my order?

Do I have to register or log in to order?
Registration is not required to place an order. You can also place an order as a guest or send us an e-mail to info@koax24.de.
However, only registered users have access to all data sheets and the order and quotation history.
My desired article cannot be ordered via the store. How do I have to proceed?
Despite our extensive range, it may be the case that we do not yet stock your desired item. In this case, please contact our customer service team at info@koax24.de and we will check whether we can obtain the item for you.
How can I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel during the production process, please contact our customer service at info@koax24.de. As our prefabricated coaxial cables are customer-specific goods, a cancellation is only possible as long as production has not yet begun.
Commercial goods can also be canceled later for a restocking fee. You can find our cancellation conditions in our general terms and conditions.
Can I specify a preferred delivery date?
Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to specify a desired date in the ordering process. You can control this to a limited extent by shortening or extending the production time. The shipping time can also be adjusted accordingly via express shipping options.
If you need your order on a more specific date, you can also send us a message during the ordering process using the comments field. We will do our best to accommodate your desired date.
The product is in the inflow. What does this mean?
The comment “In the inflow” means that we do not currently have sufficient quantities of the item or parts thereof in stock. They can still be ordered, but we cannot make any immediate statements about delivery times.
As soon as we have received the missing materials, we will proactively contact you and communicate a shipping date. Unfortunately, due to the different delivery times of our suppliers, we are unable to make any binding statements about the replenishment time.
We also stock alternatives from other manufacturers for many of our items. If your desired item is currently not available, please contact us for such an alternative item.
What payment methods are available?

How can I pay by credit card?
In cooperation with PayPal, we offer payment by credit card exclusively for payments via our online store. You do not need a PayPal account for this.

Why can I only pay in advance?
As a security measure, we have restricted the limit for invoice purchases for first-time buyers to €500.
If you are already an existing customer and the invoice payment method is not displayed, please check whether you are logged in, as this is the only way our online store can assign the correct payment conditions.

How do I receive my invoice?
The invoice will be issued on the shipping day and sent to your billing address by post. If you would like the invoice to be sent by e-mail, please let us know when you place your order.

I need more than 250 cable assemblies. Can I expect a lower price?
In our online store, you receive a graduated quantity discount up to a quantity of 250 cable assemblies. If you require a quantity in excess of this, please contact us. In most cases, we can make you an individual offer with reduced conditions.
Do you offer discounts for larger quantities of material?
For most cables in our online store, we offer a graduated quantity discount up to 500m. For connectors and similar items, the prices are staggered up to 1000 pieces.
If you require a larger quantity, please contact us. In some cases we can make you an individual offer at a reduced price.
Do you offer reseller or university discounts?
Special pricing conditions apply for colleges, universities, institutes and the like. In addition, we grant a special discount of 5% for all cable assemblies in addition to all other agreed discounts.
As this individual pricing is not available in our online store, please contact us by e-mail to inquire about your requirements. We will then provide you with a customized offer.
We do not currently offer a discount for resellers.
Which countries do you deliver to?
We currently deliver within Germany, to the EU and to selected third countries. You can find an overview of the countries we deliver to here in the drop-down menu.
I have not yet received my package. Where is my order?
The expected shipping date is shown in our order confirmation. If “Delivery date following” is entered there, part of your order is still in the inflow. As soon as the complete material is available, you will receive an updated order confirmation with a shipping date.
On the day the goods are dispatched, you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number which you can use to track the current status of your delivery.
How long are your standard delivery times?
The standard production time for cable assemblies is 8 working days, for material 5 working days. Please note that the shipping day does not count towards the production time. You can either shorten or extend the production time in the ordering process.
The delivery time from the shipping date depends on the selected shipping method. The standard shipping time via UPS is 1-3 working days, but several express options are available.
Can you manufacture faster than in standard time?
The standard production time for cable assemblies is 8 working days, for material 5 working days. Please note that the shipping day does not count towards the production time. You can either shorten or extend the production time in the ordering process.
Where can I find the delivery date of my order?

Are your delivery dates inbound or outbound?
The dates stated in our acknowledgements of receipt and order confirmations are always outbound. Added to this is the time required by the shipping service provider for delivery. For standard shipping with UPS, this is usually 1-3 working days.

Can I pick up my ordered goods from you?
Due to our internal processes, it is not possible to collect your ordered items from our premises. We only ship with UPS or Dachser.
Which shipping service providers do you work with?
We ship your order with UPS. If you have your own UPS customer number, you can enter it when ordering, which will automatically reduce the shipping costs.
We ship particularly heavy orders with Dachser.
The correct shipping method is automatically selected for you during the ordering process.
How is my delivery insured?
When delivered via UPS, your order is automatically insured up to an amount of €510. If the package is lost, the purchase price will be refunded up to this amount.
Please note: As we always ship with the Incoterm FCA, we are not responsible for lost parcels. Lost goods will still be invoiced and the €510 will be refunded as a credit note.
If you would like to insure your order for the full value and are not a self-insurer, we offer additional insurance for an amount of 1% of the net order value. You can select this option during the ordering process in our online store. If you order from us by e-mail and would like additional insurance, please let us know in your order.
Orders that are sent via a forwarding agent due to their weight or volume are generally insured for the entire value of the goods.
Can I share my cable assembly with others?
You can copy your cable assembly as a link to the clipboard or send it as an e-mail using the share icons in the configurator and in the shopping cart.
Please note that cable assemblies created in the configurator cannot be shared by copying the URL.
Is a labeling of the cable assembly possible?
You can select a label for your desired cable assembly in our configurator by selecting the label under “Labeling”. Text fields will then appear in which you can enter your individual label. Two lines of 12 characters each are possible.
The labeling is done using a waterproof, abrasion- and acid-resistant label. We do not currently offer shrink sleeves with labeling in our range.
How is the length of the cable measured?
The cable length specified in our configurator corresponds to the pure cable cut without the offset value of the connectors. If your application requires an exact length from connector end to connector end, we offer the option of end-to-end or length calculation. Select this in the configurator under “Options” and we will calculate the length including the connectors.
What is the minimum length for cable assemblies?
Assemblies with a minimum length of 10 cm can be put together in our cable configurator. Shorter lengths must first be checked for technical feasibility, which depends on the selected connectors and kink protection. If you require cable assemblies that are shorter than 10 cm, please contact us for a customized quote.
My required connector cannot be selected in the configurator. Are there alternatives?
It may be the case that we do not have every type of connector for every cable in our range. In this case, we will be happy to assist you in selecting an alternative cable for which your desired connector is available.
It is possible that the connector type you are looking for for the cable of your choice is available from another supplier. In this case, we will be happy to add most connectors to our range for you.
Incidentally, we stock alternatives from other brands or unbranded connectors for most connectors. Here too, we can advise you on your choice.
Is a discount possible for higher purchase quantities?
In our cable configurator, you automatically receive a quantity discount based on the number of units entered. This scale extends up to 250 cables and the discount is automatically deducted in the shopping cart.
Do you need more cable assemblies? Simply contact us and you will receive a customized offer.
Are configured cables stock items?
As you can combine cables and connectors of any cable length in our configurator, there are countless possible combinations. However, this also means that all cable assemblies are manufactured individually and are therefore not available from stock.
The standard production time is currently 8 working days, although this time can be shortened or extended during the ordering process.
Can you assemble any connector type to any cable?
Unfortunately, there are certain cables for which only a limited number of connector types are available on the market. We do our best to provide the widest possible selection of connectors for each cable.
For most cables, however, we already have a large selection of connector types from different manufacturers.
Can you manufacture special cables that are not shown in the configurator?
We can also add extras to your desired cable that cannot initially be selected in the configurator. Providing the cable with a protective conduit, for example, is usually not a problem.
Do you have a special request that differs from our standard cables? Then contact us, we will be happy to help you.
Why is a cable drum automatically added to my order?
To guarantee maximum safety, cables and cable assemblies above a certain length are not sent to you as a ring, but on a drum. The exact length depends on the bending radius and the cross-section of the cable.
The drum is automatically added and calculated in the shopping cart for meter goods. For cable assemblies, the drum is added later and is not charged additionally.
I am looking for cables for a special application. How do I find the right cable for this?
On the “Application” and “Characteristics” overview pages on our homepage, you will find cables for special applications such as outdoor cables or halogen-free cables.
If you cannot find the cable you are looking for here, we will of course be happy to assist you.
Where can I find the data sheet for my assembly and its individual parts?
The data sheets and other documents for each of our materials can be found on the respective article pages in our online store. If you put together an assembly in our cable configurator, you will also find all the data sheets for the individual connectors and the cable of the assembly there.
The data sheets for assembled cables as a whole can also be found in the configurator. However, these are only available to logged-in users.
Do you also offer individually designed breakout boxes?
What is the difference between regular and RP (reverse polarity) connectors?
The difference between a classic plug connector and its reverse version can often lead to confusion.
The RP connector (RP = reverse polarity) is externally the same as the regular plug connector, but the RP plug (male) has a metal tube as the inner conductor, whereas the RP socket (female) has a pin. The inner workings of the connectors are therefore reversed, whereas the housing is the same as the classic design.
However, reverse connectors are not only available as SMA variants; this design also exists in the area of TNC and BNC connectors, for example.
As a conventional connector is not compatible with a reverse connector, simply because of the different design, it is advisable to seek an expert opinion if you are unsure.
Do you have multi-core cables in your range?
We do not currently have any multi-pole cables or connectors in our range. However, we can bundle several pre-assembled coaxial cables into a braided sleeve according to your specifications. You can determine the cable type, the number of wires, the connector types and much more yourself. Enquire about your desired cable and you will receive a specific offer from us in the shortest possible time.
I would like to make a complaint about an item. How can I do this?

What advantages do I have if I register?
Registered users have a number of advantages over guests in our online store, such as

I need a cable recommendation for my application. What information do you need from me?
In order to be able to recommend a suitable cable, we need as much information as possible about your application. The most important factors are
1. What frequency should the cable withstand?
2. Is your application indoors or outdoors?
3. Is a low attenuation value important?
4. Is there a maximum limit for the cross-section of the cable?
5. Which connector types should be assembled and what gender should they be?
Other information such as halogen-free, voltage, etc. is also helpful in providing you with the best possible advice.
Is there a glossary with all the important technical terms on your site?

Do you also offer the repair of defective cables?
We may be able to repair defective cables. However, this depends on the individual case and must first be checked technically. Before you send the defective cable to us, please contact our support team.
Who can I contact with technical questions?
Our support team will be happy to answer any technical questions you may have. If we are unable to answer a question directly, we will of course get back to you as soon as we have researched a suitable answer.
What documents do you need for my application?
In order to process your application as quickly as possible, we require the following documents
- Cover letter

- Which position are you applying for? (For unsolicited applications, please state your expectations)
- Salary expectations and desired working hours
- Complete curriculum vitae
- References from your last job
Please note that we can only process documents in .pdf format.
How long does it take until I receive feedback on my application?
We review and process applications on a weekly basis. During the summer months or at the turn of the year, however, this can take up to three weeks due to the high workload. If you do not hear back from us after this time, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
Why is no e-mail sent with a rejection?
There are various reasons why we do not send an explicit rejection email:
- High number of automated applications: Approximately 80% of incoming applications come from spam or chatbot systems.
- Efficiency: Not sending individual rejection emails allows us to focus our resources on carefully reviewing qualified applications.
- Data protection: We minimize unnecessary communication to protect your data in the best possible way.
If you have not heard from us after 3 weeks, please assume that your application was unsuccessful.
I have received a response to my application. What happens now?
First interview (Zoom):
If your application contains all the relevant information, such as salary expectations, desired working hours and your motivation, we will first invite you to a Zoom interview. This interview usually lasts around 30 minutes and we will discuss your motivation and your expectations of working for us in more detail.
Second interview (on site):
In the next step, we will invite you to a personal interview where you will meet your future supervisors and colleagues. This interview is primarily about assessing your suitability and skills. Be prepared for us to ask questions about information on our website, your portfolio or your preferences. Allow about 1 to 2 hours for this.
Trial work:
If you are shortlisted, we will invite you to a one-day or multi-day trial where we will reimburse you for expenses incurred upon request. This gives you the opportunity to get to know our team and our way of working and to clarify any open questions. After the trial period, both you and we should be able to make an informed decision. This step is important to ensure that our mutual expectations are aligned and that a long-term collaboration is possible.
Draft employment contract:
If the trial work is successful and you and we are in agreement, we will prepare a draft employment contract for review. If you agree to the terms and conditions, the contract will be signed. After that, we are all on a first-name basis and look forward to the onboarding, which we will prepare.
How long will my personal data be stored?
Please note that we will keep your application for a maximum of 3 months after the end of the procedure in accordance with Section 61 b (1) ArbGG in conjunction with Section 15 (4) AGG. As a rule, we delete your documents and all associated notes after one month. In the event of a rejection, we will do this immediately. You will only receive confirmation of the deletion of your documents on request.
