D-Sub Kits

Kit for D-Sub connectors

With the help of our D-Sub kits, you are guaranteed to achieve consistent high quality and spacing inside the housing, even with thin coaxial cables. They provide you with everything you need to make your own D-Sub adapter or cable whip.
Such an adapter can consist of 2 to 10 individual coaxial cables, the limit depending on the cross-section of the wires. Ten large diameter cables will not fit through the grommet of the D-Sub housing, so the use of a thinner cable is recommended here.
The optimized layout PCBs are just thick enough to fit between the contacts, saving you the hassle of soldering the individual cables to the D-Sub connector.
Available kits and connectors: DSub 9, DSub 15, DSub 25, DSub 37.
Definitions:
9-pin female (female) = BU female,
9-pin male (male) = ST pin male
Tip for the right cable:
When a PCB is used in conjunction with a coaxial cable, the coaxial cable must have a temperature resistant dielectric. Usually cables with a FEP jacket such as RG316, RG178 or Multiflex 86 are recommended.
Coaxial cables with D-Sub connector easily created!
With us you can have your kit with D-Sub on coaxial cable with matching plug or socket according to your ideas from one piece also manufactured by us. Example pictures, how something like this can look like, can be found at the end of the page.
Usually the signal distribution at the D-Sub plug or socket is realized by a corresponding printed circuit board. This guarantees a constant quality and optimizes the connection distances.
This connector type is available on request.
Here you will find an overview of all complete sets available in the store.
Pin assignment 9pol. D-Sub female and 9pol. D-Sub male
The following table gives an overview of the pin assignment and the allocation of the possible connections.
The corresponding PCB is equipped with as many connections as possible, so that omitting connections is not a problem.
The PCB solution is optimized for maximum distances between the individual contacts and guarantees consistent quality. The assignment is facilitated by the labeling of the printed circuit board.
Our kit is equipped with high-quality connectors and housings. Always included is a matching heat shrink tubing with inner adhesive to protect the cables to the outside.
