RG316D - RD316 COAXIAL CABLE / 50 Ω

The RG316D or RD316 is a double-shielded cable, with high-quality features, alternative to the well-known RG316 with almost the same dimensions and materials. Temperature and abrasion resistance characterize this line for demanding applications.

Difference RG316D - RD316 and Standard coaxial cable:

The RG316D - RD316 is a 3.15 mm-thin radio frequency cable, double shielded and suitable for most RF applications, where it comes to low losses and high shielding effect.

The RD316 (called also RG316D or RGD316) is made from the same materials. Only it has in addition a silver plated shielding braid made of copper.

As a result, these comparative figures arise:

RG 316 /C:
Critical frequency = 2.5 GHz
Attenuation at 2 GHz = 1.29 dB
Shielding Factor = 40 dB
Diameter = 2.45 mm

RG316D or RD 316:
Critical frequency = 2.5 GHz
Attenuation at 2 GHz = 1.35 dB
Shielding Factor = 70 dB
Diameter = 2.90 mm
