Hand-malleable coaxial cable with a maximum operating frequency of 40 GHz, also known as semi-rigid cables. This sheath cable is used mainly for non-moving connections.
Applications: in the internal wiring of radio frequency equipment and radio applications

Semi Rigid-Coaxial Cable:
Semi rigid coaxial cables are rigid coaxial cables, the form of which rather reminds of pipes.
The inner conductor consists of a solid copper wire (tinned or silver plated).
The advantage of a semi rigid coaxial cable is that the leak radiation and absorption, especially at higher frequencies (in GHz range), is lower than in a conventional coaxial cable. The range is limited to applications where no mechanical movement of the coaxial cable is necessary, such as wiring in equipment or fixed installation.
Such cables for applications are used up to 10 GHz and higher, depending on the used cable.
