Difference coaxial cable and triaxial cable:

A Triaxial cable is a special form of the coaxial cable, which consists of three concentric conductors. These are separated by a dielectric, as well as a shielding. Applications are video technology and electrical metrology. In electrical metrology femtoampere currents can be measured with a suitable construction using Triaxial cables. Due to the higher production costs, the cables are more expensive than coaxial cables.
